These Girls, It's Always These Girls

by Philip Estes

Hannah used to be a power lifter
so she has these strong legs and thighs.
The times I was that guy,
where I’d try to pick her up,
it was impossible
because she was small
but weighed like lead.
Which isn’t a very nice thing to say
I guess, but she’s got a nice ass
and doesn’t look as thick as lead, and that’s fine,
because when she pulls me close
with her legs she leaves bruises on me.
“Tell me my hair is soft as silk,” she says,
“Your hair is soft as silk”
